HOW TO MAKE HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE
Preheat oven to 350°F. 3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder, and salt Mix in milk, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the batter into an ungreased 9-inch square baking dish. Mix remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over the dough. Pour boiling water without stirring.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Remove from the oven and let stand for 15 minutes. Serve in dessert bowls, and pour the sauce from the bottom of the pan over the top. Garnish with whipped cream if desired. This recipe makes 9 (1/2 cup)
