To start, set the oven to 350 degrees. Drain the green beans and place them in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

I prefer to use Del Monte green beans for this recipe. They offer a quick and easy solution without sacrificing the taste or quality of my festive recipes.

Bacon according to box directions. Large pieces should be cut and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix.

Pour the mixture over the green beans and then the bacon. Toss gently until the beans are evenly coated.

Place green beans in a 9×13 baking dish or casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
