Easy No-Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars

by mobi_22

Thin, rich, and indulgent unbaked peanut butter chocolate bars. They are wonderful treats in any season, created from five simple ingredients.

With the arrival of spring and summer, I have less desire to turn on the oven. They are perfect for any type of party or event. They are also perfect for all peanut butter lovers.

If you love peanut butter, I am sure you will love this recipe for Easy No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars. This recipe is much better than store-bought chocolate in my opinion.

TIPS FOR MAKING NO-BAKE REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER BARS:

Mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and peanut butter.

Stir in the melted butter until smooth.

Spread the mixture evenly in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave.

Spread the peanut butter mixture on top.

Leave to cool until solid, and then cut into bars (these are very difficult to cut if the chocolate is “rock hard”).

Then serve and enjoy with family and friends!

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED FOR THIS DISH:

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups coarsely ground graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp. peanut butter + 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, semisweet or milk

RECIPE TIPS:

If your peanut butter mixture is too runny, add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar, mix well and see if that helps (if not, add another 1/4 cup of powdered sugar to the mixture). If your house is warm, cooling should be enough.

If you have a peanut allergy, you can replace the peanut butter with almond butter. The bars taste a little different from Reese’s, but they are still amazing.

If you have a gluten allergy, replace the graham cracker crumbs with crushed gluten-free cookies, crackers, or cornflakes. I have never eaten it myself, but a few followers have reported that it is delicious.

Simply cut the bars with a plastic knife. Creates a very smooth cut. I would wipe the knife with a paper towel between cuts.

HOW DO YOU STORE REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER BARS?

These Reese’s bars should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. In my experience, they keep their shape best when cold. They can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 1-2 months.

WHAT CAN I SERVE WITH MY PEANUT BUTTER?

I can serve ginger salad with peanut butter, oatmeal with peanut butter and banana, berries, and sweet potatoes.
